A Gay in the Life

A Gay in the Life is a panel comprised of marginalized sexual identities (LGBTQIA) organized by Resident Assistant, Kristin Cookston, to present residents with an open discussion about sexuality utilizing members of Progress.
Student Organization and Leadership Fair
January 13th and 14th 2014 / 11:00am - 2:00pm / Campus Center 108.2
Progress will be showcasing our new and current members, also will be offering info on our mission goals, and work last semester.
Film Showing

Progress is advertising for a Gender and Sexuality concerned Film series provided by an array of professors accross several different studies. This is the first in the series.
Preview Day

Progress will be showcasing our new and current members, also we will be speaking with potential incoming students to the University of West Georgia.
February 15th 2014 / 9:00am - 9:00pm / Agnes Scott College
Progress will be attending the GSA summit for 2014. We will not be participating as an organization, rather we will be observing the festivities and gathering resources. Interested parties will need to fill out the form below, if they intend on going with an association to Progress.
Bake Sale
February 20th 2014 / 12:00pm-4:00pm / The Grassy Triangle
We will be having a bake sale to raise money for Progress so we can put on more fun and interesting programs for the UWG and greater Carrollton Community. Come out and buy a cookie, or two, or dozen!
A Love Story

Deborah will be involved in the production of A Love Story, a play about domestic violence and has invited Progress to watch.

What Today’s Science Says about Human Sexuality
Without exaggeration, we have learned more about sex in the past half-century or so than the human race has known since the get-go. No wonder sex is so controversial today! This presentation will tell that story and summarize the research conclusions, all with an eye toward responsible sexual behavior.
Drag Show

Lambda will be hosting their annual Drag Show. We will be helping out and it is a great event to just relax or participate! Please come and donate funds!
